Who Are We?
Who Are We?
Verse 1:
Looking out my window, I can see
You and your family are worshiping TV
It feels like a movie, this insanity
Trapped in complacency and apathy
We traded our identities for conformity
Bridge:
Who are we?
Who are we?
Chorus:
Sometimes I just don't know why
some of us even try
but I'll do it till I die
that's what it is to be alive
Verse 2:
We all grow up with fairy tales
and truths that no one tells
Indoctrinated by TV and society
Then we look inside ourselves
and think that we need help
Bridge:
Who are we?
Who are we?
Chorus:
Sometimes I just don't know why
some of us even try
but I'll do it till I die
that's what it is to be alive
Verse 3:
They send us to the pharmacy concerning mental health
they tell us if we feel, we're mentally ill
but there's a big drug company that made a magic pill
to subdue all we feel, because we see what's real
So, now we can be obedient zombies
Bridge:
Who are we?
Who are we?
Chorus:
Sometimes I just don't know why
some of us even try
but I'll do it till I die
that's what it is to be alive
Sometimes I just don't know why.
